Perhaps you have struggled recently in your life. You may have been laid off from work, your world may seem ready to explode, and your body may be racked with pain. Maybe you see no relief in sight.
Meditate on God's Word.(Psalm 119:15-16): Meditate literally means to "self talk." When you face the toughest seasons of your life, get in the Word and repeat the promises of God. Remind yourself of God's goodness, love and power. Talk about the victory and blessings that are yours as a child of God!
Stay planted (Psalm 1:3): When times get tough, don't bolt. Stay planted in your marriage. Stay planted in the house of God. Stay planted in prayer and in the Word. Determine that no matter what, you will stay rooted in God. He is the source of your peace and power. God is faithful and He cares for you. He knows your need. He will not abandon nor forsake you.
Raise the praise (Psalm 76:1): When you make the praises of God known, He will fight your battle. When you enter into the place of praise and make the blessings of God known, He will break the weapons of your enemy.
If you want to win, learn to praise. Are you going to let fear and worry rule your life . . . or are you going to speak about the blessings and goodness of God? Are you going to give God power through your praise? When you fill your life with praise and meditate on God's Word, there's no room for defeat and depression in your life. When you praise, you release the power and authority of God. That's when you can be victorious in your toughest times!

Synopsis Of Upcoming Book
This is a story about a little boy, Logan who wanders away from the safety of his back yard.
He finds himself in a place of no return, or so it seems. As he ventures through the wildreness, the anticipation of the unknown begins to creep in.
He's startled by echoing sounds that remind him of dinosaurs. But surely that can't be, or could it?
As the cries become more intense, Logan realizes he must run for his life and seek shelter. He stumbles upon a cave that will shelter both himself and his best friend Sam, a golden
retriever. Logan encounters many obstacles as he tries to escape the dangers that lurk beyond every corner. How will he be able to
defeat the dinosaur, and find his way back home? He must devise a plan of survival and escape.

God's Love
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16, KJV).
It is so simple it is often misunderstood or unaccepted. It is a gift of love from God to man that is so precious and pure that it can't be understood. Man's meager mind cannot conceive of a perfect God sacrificing His only Son for imperfect man. This love defies reasoning.
Sometimes, even Christians can't believe they really are loved so freely. Man usually sees God's love as having conditions and a price. This is an age when nothing is free, so how can love – a commodity most highly prized – not also demand a payment?
Yes, God's unconditional love is beyond our comprehension because there is no human love to match it. Man does not deserve it; it can't be earned. It is given freely, it does not wax cold.
Be encouraged by this; man's love wavers and is conditional. But, God's love is for you, unconditional, born of a mercy and grace that transcends all faults and failures. God loves you because you are special and important to Him. Rest now in His love. Be free from condemnation of the enemy, your failures, or the circumstances of the day. Face tomorrow with His love – it will never fail!
Father in heaven, how perfect is Your love for me! Even though I don't deserve it, thank you for loving me. Thank you for this day You gave me, wrapped in love from You. Thank you for this night of rest now, for even sleep is an expression of Your loving kindness. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Ashley's Unforgettable Summer by Grace Reddick
Debut author Grace Reddick has written a children's story that is full of imagination and impossibilities that are sure to delight young children! Rich with colorful illustrations, I think your family will enjoy this one!"
Ashley's Unforgettable Summer" is the tale of a young girl named Ashley and her unforgettable summer--oops, sorry about that...been helping my son with book reports lately:-) (Just kidding, Book Kid!)
Ashley and her family take a trip to Africa, but it isn't the kind of family vacation Ashley expected. Instead of luxury, they stay in huts, travel by land rovers called a Wacky Bus, and see the real Africa.
Unexpectedly (and unwisely in my parental opinion), Ashley's parents let her take home an exotic pet as a 'souvenir', and you'll never guess what she picks out! Okay, you probably will, so I'll just spill it
......a chimp named Tina. And spill it is a good term, because Tina tends to get into EVERYTHING and spill and squirt and spread...like a toddler on Pixie Sticks! Ashley and her friend Rylee spend their summer chasing after the chimpanzee and keeping up with her antics.
Kids will love the trouble Tina gets into. She's a female version of Curious George, with a hint more mischief and a bit more mess! This would be a wonderful series that will keep children entertained and expand their imaginations.
Just do NOT run out and buy them a chimp! Buy them this book instead:-) I'm giving "Ashley's Unforgettable Summer" four out of five bookmarks, with a whisk broom as a charm...she's going to need it!
Happy Reading!

ASHLEY’S UNFORGETTABLE SUMMER by Grace Reddick
June 30, 2008 by pumpupyourbookpromotion
Ashley’s Unforgettable SummerAuthor: Grace ReddickPublisher: XlibrisRating: Reviewed by: Dorothy Thompson.
Who wouldn’t love to own a monkey even though she sure could get into a lot of trouble! That’s the premise of Grace Reddick’s new children’s book, Ashley’s Unforgettable Summer.
Ashley goes on a trip with her parents, only it’s not quite the vacation she thought it was going to be. Instead of a tropical desert, it’s the wilds of Africa where Ashley has to stay in a hut instead of a nice, air-conditioned hotel room. But, Ashley rather enjoys her unfamiliar surroundings and makes the best of it.
Her dad takes her to the largest pet shop in the world and lets her pick out an animal to take back home. She chooses a cute chimpanzee and named her Tina.
Arriving back home, Tina turns out to be quite a handful, getting into all sorts of trouble and leaving Ashley scrambling to clean up her mess before her parents found out. All in all, Tina turns out to be Ashley’s best friend and that summer turns out to be Ashley’s most unforgettable summer.
I really enjoyed this book, but I didn’t want to stop finding out about more trouble the little chimp could get into. Perhaps there’s a second book so I can have my Tina fix? ;o)
Ashley’s Unforgettable Summer by Grace Reddick is sure to be a hit with the pre-school crowd and monkey lovers alike!
