Especially For You

Circumstances and relationships can take over our lives, and destroy our self esteem. It is easy to fall prey to self destruction. When you feel as though no one really cares, and you have to face these situations alone, just know that you are not alone.

"(Now) we have this (hope) as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul – it cannot slip and it cannot break down under whoever steps out upon it – (a hope) that reaches farther and enters into (the very certainty of the Presence) within the veil. Where Jesus has entered in for us (in advance), a Forerunner having become a High Priest forever after the order (with the rank) of Melchizedek" (Hebrews 6:19-20, AMP).

You may have no more faith; you may even feel there is no longer any hope left, but at a moment when the only answer appears to be to end it all...God can supernaturally place a tiny light at the end of that very dark, fearful corridor you are in and touch your spirit with a new light and revelation of Himself that will turn that dark hopelessness within you into a growing light of his truth, love, healing, strength and restoration of your own self-worth.
Will you trust Him for this ?

Jesus, our Heavenly Father is always near, and ready to come to your rescue.
Pray this prayer and be comforted.
Heavenly Father, I surrender all my failings, discouragements, fear and negative thoughts to You. I have only proven that in my own strength I cannot go on. I ask You to cleanse me, forgive me, and touch my spirit with a new hope. I release myself to You right now – every area of my life – and ask You to turn my life around, step by step. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Interview With Grace Reddick

What discipline do you impose on yourself regarding schedules, goals, etc.?
I must admit, I fall short here. I would love to spend all day, every day writing, but unfortunately there is life outside my office. I'm working on two books, so I have to divide my time, what little of it there is. Devoting several hours a day is my goal.

What do you recommend I do with all those things I wrote years ago but have never been able to bring myself to show anyone?
If you have a passion for what you have written, it should be treasured. I have never discarded anything. Sure, the style may have changed, but the story remains the same. The book, "Ashley's Unforgettable Summer," is a story I wrote many years ago while my two girls were young children. I say, go for it.

Overcome Your Toughest Seasons In Life

Perhaps you have struggled recently in your life. You may have been laid off from work, your world may seem ready to explode, and your body may be racked with pain. Maybe you see no relief in sight.

Meditate on God's Word.(Psalm 119:15-16): Meditate literally means to "self talk." When you face the toughest seasons of your life, get in the Word and repeat the promises of God. Remind yourself of God's goodness, love and power. Talk about the victory and blessings that are yours as a child of God!

Stay planted (Psalm 1:3): When times get tough, don't bolt. Stay planted in your marriage. Stay planted in the house of God. Stay planted in prayer and in the Word. Determine that no matter what, you will stay rooted in God. He is the source of your peace and power. God is faithful and He cares for you. He knows your need. He will not abandon nor forsake you.

Raise the praise (Psalm 76:1): When you make the praises of God known, He will fight your battle. When you enter into the place of praise and make the blessings of God known, He will break the weapons of your enemy.

If you want to win, learn to praise. Are you going to let fear and worry rule your life . . . or are you going to speak about the blessings and goodness of God? Are you going to give God power through your praise? When you fill your life with praise and meditate on God's Word, there's no room for defeat and depression in your life. When you praise, you release the power and authority of God. That's when you can be victorious in your toughest times!

Synopsis Of Upcoming Book

This is a story about a little boy, Logan who wanders away from the safety of his back yard.
He finds himself in a place of no return, or so it seems. As he ventures through the wildreness, the anticipation of the unknown begins to creep in.
He's startled by echoing sounds that remind him of dinosaurs. But surely that can't be, or could it?
As the cries become more intense, Logan realizes he must run for his life and seek shelter. He stumbles upon a cave that will shelter both himself and his best friend Sam, a golden
retriever. Logan encounters many obstacles as he tries to escape the dangers that lurk beyond every corner. How will he be able to
defeat the dinosaur, and find his way back home? He must devise a plan of survival and escape.
